Custom Fields in BlockSurvey allow you to go beyond basic contact details like email or phone number.
You can define your own fields, such as Job Title, Referral Source, Preferences, or Tags, to store personalized data for each contact. These fields help with better segmentation, personalization, and campaign targeting.

Create an Contact List: If you have not created one, follow the guide here to create an Contact List.
Custom Fields in Your Contact List
Navigate to the "Audience -> Contacts" section in your TeamSpace and open the Contact List where you want to create custom fields.
Click on "Add Columns", then in the pop-up, click "Add New Column" to create a custom field.
You can define the column name and choose the data type (e.g., Text, Number, Date) to suit your needs.
You can add a new custom column using the “Add” icon and delete an existing one using the “Delete” icon in the "Add Columns" pop-up.
After adding or modifying the custom column, click on "Save" to apply the changes to your Contact List.
By using Custom Fields in your Contact List, you can collect and organize richer, more personalized data about your contacts. This flexibility helps you segment your contact more effectively and run highly targeted campaigns.
