The Smartsheet integration with BlockSurvey Contact Lists allows you to automatically push your contact list data to Smartsheet in real time.
Once connected, changes made to your Contact List: including creating, updating, or deleting contacts, are automatically synced with the connected Smartsheet. You can also push survey responses to Smartsheet when Audience List Management is enabled.
Follow these steps to set it up:
1. Create a new Contact List and click Sync Now.
2. Select Smartsheet from the available integrations.
3. If you haven't connected a Smartsheet account yet, select Create a New Account. You will be redirected to the Smartsheet consent page. Review the requested permissions and click Allow to connect your Smartsheet account.
4. Select the Smartsheet that you want to sync with your BlockSurvey Contact List.
5. Map your Contact List fields to the corresponding Smartsheet columns.
Make sure each field is mapped to the appropriate Smartsheet column before continuing.
6. Select the sync direction.
Currently, Export/Push is supported. This means contacts from your BlockSurvey Contact List will be pushed to Smartsheet.
7. Click Finish to complete the integration.
You will now see the Smartsheet sync details on your Contact List page.
8. Manage the Smartsheet sync from your Contact List.
From the Contact List page, you can:
Turn the sync on or off to pause or resume exporting contacts.
Disconnect the Smartsheet integration when you no longer want to sync the Contact List.
9. View your contacts in Smartsheet.
After the integration is enabled, add a contact to your Contact List or create a component as shown below.
Click the Smartsheet name highlighted in the image to open the connected sheet. You can now view the contacts that have been pushed from BlockSurvey to Smartsheet.
Manage Smartsheet columns from BlockSurvey
You can manage custom columns in the connected Smartsheet directly from your Contact List.
You can add, update, or delete custom columns through the Contact List, and those changes will be reflected in the connected Smartsheet.
Push Survey Responses to Smartsheet
In addition to syncing your Contact List, you can also push survey responses to Smartsheet when Audience List Management is enabled.
This allows you to keep your contact data and survey responses synchronized with Smartsheet for easier tracking, collaboration, and analysis.
Follow the steps above to seamlessly integrate Smartsheet with BlockSurvey Contact Lists and automatically export your contacts and survey responses to Smartsheet.
