The Text Campaign feature in BlockSurvey allows you to send bulk SMS messages to your audience directly from your TeamSpace. You can create text campaigns, personalize messages, and track delivery performance - all while maintaining the same privacy-first approach BlockSurvey is known for.
Pre-requisite:
Before creating a campaign, ensure you have completed the following steps:
Create an Contact List: A contact list is required to send emails. If you have not created one, follow the guide here to create an Contact List.
Your contact list includes a valid phone number column. Phone numbers must be in E.164 format. Example: +14155552671
Creating an Email Campaign
Navigate to Audience -> Email Campaign, then click on Create Campaign to start setting up your campaign.
In the pop-up, enter the following details:
Select the Channel type as Text.
Campaign Name: Enter a name for the campaign.
Select Audience: Choose one or more audience lists from the dropdown.
Select Survey: Choose a live survey from the dropdown. Only one survey can be selected.
Select ‘Bulk Campaign’ as Campaign Type.
Make sure to check the checkbox of consent.
Click Continue to Text Setup.
3. Click on Send SMS Invite to set up the email.
4. Select the sender and check the audience list connected.
5. Enter the SMS content you want to send.
You can also personalize messages using contact variables such as:
First Name
Last Name
Example:
Hi [FirstName], thanks for participating in our survey. Here's your secure survey link: [SurveyLink]
6. Insert Survey Link & Apply Filters. You can either send an SMS immediately or schedule it for later.
Filter Your Audience
Filter your Audience for the Text campaign. Easily add a contact filter to an text campaign and send your surveys to specific users.
7. Finally, send a Test SMS to verify the sending of the Text Message. You can click on Send Invite if the test email is successful.
