How to setup a Drip Campaign

The Drip Campaign feature in BlockSurvey allows you to automate a sequence of emails that are sent to your audience over time. Whether you're onboarding new users, nurturing leads, or sending follow-ups, drip campaigns help you deliver the right message at the right moment.

Pre-requisite:

  1. Create an Audience List: An audience list is required to send emails. If you have not created one, follow the guide here to create an Audience List.

  2. Set Up Email Settings (Optional) : Ensure that your email settings are configured under the Campaign Settings menu. You need to have at least one sender email address available. Follow the guide here to set up Email configuration.

Setting Up a Drip Campaign

  1. Navigate to Audience Panel > Email Campaign, then click on Create Campaign to start setting up your campaign.

  2. In the Create Campaign popup, fill in the campaign details, select Drip Campaign as the campaign type, and choose a trigger under "Trigger Campaign When" either when a contact is added or updated.

  3. If you want to target specific contacts, you can enable the Trigger Logic setting and define conditions that must be met for the campaign to start- such as a specific tag, field value, or custom attribute.

  4. Once everything is set, click on "Create Campaign" to save and launch the drip campaign setup.

  5. Click on "Add Email Setup" to setup the email.

  6. Select the Sender Name, add the Reply-To Email, enter the Subject, and write the Email Body. Once you're ready, click on "Start Drip Campaign" to activate and begin sending your drip emails.

  7. After starting the campaign, the status will change to “Processing”, and the number of respondents will initially show as zero. As contacts meet the trigger conditions, they will be added to the campaign automatically.
