How to use Gmail for email notifications
You can set up Gmail for sending and receiving email notifications on BlockSurvey.
Follow this quick guide to set things up.
- Sign in to your Gmail account.
- Go to Google Accounts -> Security.
- Under Signing into Google, enable 2-step verification and then generate an App password.
- Go to App passwords and generate a new app password. Make sure to copy it!
- In BlockSurvey go to Settings -> Configuration -> Email Configuration. Click on Add Email.
- Select Gmail as a provider.
- Enter your email as the username and paste the generated app password.
- After adding, click on the test email to verify that everything is set up correctly.
You're all set to send and receive email notifications on BlockSurvey using Gmail.
