Email Gating in BlockSurvey lets you allow or block specific email addresses or domains from participating in the survey.
You can apply it at the Welcome screen or the Question level.
Follow the steps below to set it up.
Add an Email question to your questionnaire.
Under the Email Gating tab, click Add Gating.
Choose Gating Type
a) Allowlist: Only emails from the specified list will be allowed.
b) Blocklist: Emails from the specified list will be blocked.
Select List Type
a) Email List
b) Domain List
Upload your CSV file and make sure the file contains the correct email addresses or domains based on your selected list type. Once you have designed your questionnaire, Publish it and try submitting test responses.
Entering an email address not on the uploaded list will result in an error.
Give it a try! By following these steps, you can easily control survey participation by allowing or blocking specific email addresses or domains.
