If you frequently use the same forms and surveys, such as for collecting reviews or feedback, you can make things easier for your respondents by pre-filling the forms and surveys with information that you already have.
Examples
Customer feedback Survey: Pre-fill information, such as customer names and email IDs.
Churn Survey: Pre-fill information, such as customer ID and email ID.
Course feedback Survey: Pre-fill information such as the course name and the course presenter.
How to pre-fill a form or survey?
Open a form or survey.
Add your questions and Publish the survey from the Share screen.
In the Share screen, click Customize Link.
Go to Prefill answers, add prefill values, and click Create Custom URL.
Here is a sample for you to test Prefill Survey.
In the above example, the name is prefilled, and we are asking only for the rating.
Prefilling can be especially helpful when distributing surveys via email, as it allows you to avoid asking for information that you already have, such as email IDs.
