How do I set up Display Logic for Questions in BlockSurvey

Updated over 2 months ago

What is Display Logic?

In survey platforms, Display Logic means a rule that determines whether certain questions are shown or hidden based on the respondent's previous answers.

Why Display Logic?

Display logic saves time, increases engagement & removes frustration for your respondents.

Product Satisfaction Use case

When a customer rates your product 5 out of 5, it's likely because they're extremely satisfied, and asking for improvements might not be necessary. On the other hand, when a customer rates your product 3 or less, it's likely because they're not entirely satisfied, and asking for improvements can help you identify areas for improvement. By using display logic, we can tailor our follow-up questions to the customer's rating.

Steps to Set up Display Logic

  1. Go to your Survey

  2. Go to the question you want to set up display logic

  3. Go to Logic tab & Click Add Display Logic

  4. Choose any previous question from the list and set the conditions you want to apply for displaying this question. You can set up multiple conditions when needed.

  5. That's it! You've successfully set up display logic using BlockSurvey. Publish your survey & test submission to ensure the Display Logic works as intended.

Unlike skip logic, which can skip questions or sections, display logic only controls the visibility of questions.
