Pre-requisite: You must have signed up for your BlockSurvey account using email and have an active paid subscription.
The Magic Recovery Key is essential for signing back into your BlockSurvey account. Follow these simple steps to verify your key and learn about it:
On your BlockSurvey Dashboard, you'll see a banner. Click on the "Learn How to Sign In back!" button.
2. During sign-up, BlockSurvey sent you an email with the subject: "Save this email: BlockSurvey Recovery Info" from [email protected]. This email contains your Magic Recovery Key.
💡Tip: Check your spam folder if you can't find the email in the inbox.
3. Before proceeding to the verification, save your Magic Recovery Key in a Password Manager or another secure place.
4. Copy the Magic Recovery Key from your email and paste the key into the verification field.
5. Select the checkbox and click the “I’ve Learned to Sign In” button.
6. Once verified, a success message will be displayed. You can also download the Magic Recovery Key as a text file to your device for safekeeping.
What to Do if You Can’t Find the Magic Recovery Key?
No need to worry! Just follow these steps to retrieve your key:
In the “Learn How to Sign In Back!” popup, click Resend Code.
2. A “Your Secret Key” popup will appear. Here, you can view your Secret Key and download it as a text file.
3. Click “Download and Send New Magic Recovery Key” to receive a new key in your email.
Once you receive the new key, you can proceed with verification.
Note: Every time you generate a new Magic Recovery Key, all previous keys become invalid. Always use the most recent key and store it securely in a Password Manager.
Now you can easily verify your Magic Recovery Key and ensure it’s safely stored for future use!
